Anique Hommels is aan de Faculteit der Cultuur- en Maatschappijwetenschappen (FASoS) van de Universiteit Maastricht benoemd
tot hoogleraar “Sociohistorical Technology Studies with a focus on Urban Sustainable Sociotechnical Transformations”. Deze bijzondere leerstoel is mede op initiatief van Stichting Historie der Techniek tot stand gekomen.
Op vrijdag 13 september 2024 om 16.30 uur spreekt Anique Hommels haar oratie getitled. “Transforming Cities in Times of Turmoil – Obduracy, Sustainability and Experimentation” uit.
